For those who cannot wait until their 17th Birthday, then why not go for one of our exciting HEADSTART courses.
Launched in September 1998 the demand for these courses has been high from day one, they were even featured on Meridian TV News.

Taking place in the large private car-parks at Newport Football Club in Newport, the HEADSTART courses follow a set syllabus allowing the younger driver to experience the basics of driving a car, up to a full year before legally being allowed on to the public roads.

Each candidate is given their own course guide, showing the skills they will acquire during the HEADSTART lessons, from moving off, pulling up and gear changing to reversing and parking. During the course we will even show how to change a wheel and carry out the basic vehicle checks , such as oil and water levels etc. All tuition given is carried out on a one-to-one basis and there is no limit to the number of lessons you can take.
Currently, lessons are offered on Saturday mornings .
